The demagogues on the Left have pulled out of their trick-bag, the 12 yr old motherless and bereaved Marcellas Owens.  Owens’ liberal activist Grandmother has offered him up to the Liberal Legislators, who tout him in front of the nations media as a poster boy victim of our medical system.  The Left again is playing the game of moral blackmail upon the nation.  They attempt blackmail—coercion—through their intention of gaining a moral high ground to further their agenda, by exploiting a innocent child by misrepresenting that “innocent’s” situation.  Contempt—disgust–at this tactic cannot—should not be held in check.

No where to be found, is evidence that Marcellas Owens’ mother was turned away—denied– medical care for her blood pressure condition.  To the contrary, there is evidence that her condition had deteriorated severely before she lost her job and employer’s health coverage.  To that severity of illness, there bounds compassion and sympathy, for no one wishes that upon another human or their family.

If Owens’ mother had sought treatment, by law, she would have been given appropriate care.  So, it was a personal decision that she made to not seek the care she needed.  The stark truth to the matter is, that Owens’ mother shirked her personal responsibility to her child by not signing up for any of the numerous governmental assistance programs in the State of Washington that would have helped her with her medical condition.  But, by then she may have been passed the point of medical cure, as evidence suggests.

 The sad fact to this story is that by not seeking medical care, the mother victimized her own son Marcellas.  It was not the present medial system, or all or of you who espouse the government keeping their mitts out of health care, that are at fault, as the Left is attempting to make the case.

Bet you never read that in any main stream media stories. But, the Administration, Pelosi, Schumer, Reid, MoveOn.org, and other leftist groups are so determined to push the H.C. agenda through, despite its potential to financially grind Americans into the ground, that they will  exploit this poor child as a victim of–not of his mother’s poor decisions—but, a victim of you, because you believe in the  greedy heartlessness of the private sector—capitalism.

The Dems/Lib idealogs believe that it is the government that must always conceive and implement the solutions to problems—no matter the consequences.  Whereas you believe, and history has repeatedly shown, that the freedom of the individual always stimulates an abundance of solutions for any problem that any system develops.

Understand please, the paradox that underlines this story in relation to the proposed Health Care “Reform.”  Under ObamaCare—Owens’ mother might have been denied the appropriate medical treatment she needed.  Today, she would have received medical care had she sought it, “tomorrow,” with ObamaCare, she might have been denied medical care, even if she did seek it.

In a recent poll, almost 47% of Primary Care Doctors would resign their positions if this Health Care Bill becomes law.  What about the specialists?  How many will “retire”—effectively forced out of their chosen profession.  What kind of talent will fill that void?  What will be the ratio of doctor to patients?  Will this overburden the medical system—will this situation over-stress the remaining doctors—or care givers?  Where will this leave you, your elders, your family?

New wonder and/or better drugs will cease to be developed and those already discovered and manufactured will have limited production, therefore limited availability. 

The list goes on and on as to the consequences of ObamaCare.  You are, hopefully, aware of the laundry list of problems with this Bill. No one says that reform is not needed—honest reform–but what we are witnessing in Washington DC, is very close to criminal. 

And, the bottom line—who is the victim here?

You–The Forgotten Man & Woman

On Tuesday night, the chant went out at the Massachusetts Senator-elect Scott Browns victory party–Gas Up The Truck…Gas Up The Truck! 

What better metaphor could be used to describe middle America.  Mom, apple pie, Old Glory and pick-up trucks.

As, the temperamental Alfa Romero is to the Italians,  haughty Peugeot to the French, well machined Mercedes to the Germans, the American pick-up truck embodies the average American Joe.  It’s the pick-up, not the brand, that symbolizes Main Street America.

The pick-up truck as an American free market innovation of the mid 1920’s, fulfilled the need for a carry-all transport, a “Get ‘Er Done” vehicle for the workin’ farming family or the business downtown.  It bears the indelible stamp of American ingenuity,–see a need; build a solution.  From its utilitarian roots the pick-up now comes in all colors, different sizes, loaded or plain-Jane—now ain’t that America?!  Ain’t that Americans!

When you think pick-up, you envision worn knees, rolled up sleeves, sweat dripping off the brow, but you also can drive by a multi-star restaurant and see them in the parking lot.  Kids play with Tonka pick-up trucks, adults play with the real deal.

Yep, that’s America, north, south, east & west.  Even if you don’t own one, at some point you’ll need one, because you got a job to do–and limos, just don’t cut the mustard.

Limos –you can go to a wedding in them, party in them, look important in them, even stroke your ego in them.  They are expensive to buy; costly to keep, look out-dated when they scratch and dent.  They relentlessly soak up loads of fuel.  Kind of reminds you of Congress—Ya think?! 

Not only do they use loads of gasoline, they also excessively exude waste gases—just like the Limousine Liberals who ride in them.

What a stark contrast this drops into the lap of Ma & Pa Kettle, sittin’ on their porch.  Coakley, Kerry and BHO, driven to their speeches in limos, snidely ridiculed the pick-up driving candidate, using thinly veiled phrases combined with derogatory tones in their voices to belittle the oh, so common pick-up drivin’ man.

They seat themselves high on the lofty pedestal, looking down their refined–or is it redefined–noses at Brown drivin’ in his pick-up, looking down at all the small people, whom they have to bother themselves with to get their insignificant vote; which they think they are entitled to just because they are of Teddy Kennedy’s ilk.  Quick, get the antibacterial hand soap to wash away any of that soil from toil.

Distinguishing himself, Scott Brown, that pick-up driving candidate, effectively propounded in a debate with Coakley, “…its not Kennedy’s seat, its not the Democrats’ seat, it is the people’s seat…” 

BANG–that was all it took to expose the true colors of Liberal Dems–Progressives. They presumed that their liberal pedigree would allow for their ascension to the Senate seat–as a dauphin would assume the throne–and with that presumption, they spurned the salt of the earth, of whom they purport to be  the champions of.

The Democrat Party that Babs Streisand extolled as, “the party of the people,” “ain’t no such thing,” for when the rubber hits the road, the progressive Dems are the antithesis of the people and their sovereignty—they are the party of the incestuous intelligentsia, the hedonistic nouveau riche and controlling big money.  They talk the talk, but sure don’t walk the walk, but sadly, people bought into their deceitful rhetoric–hook, line & stinker…oops …sinker. 

From the same elitist jib are cut those that descended upon Copenhagen in hundreds of private jets and one thousand plus private limos.  They converged on Copenhagen for the privileged opportunity to worship at the Global Warming altar, paradoxically leaving a carbon footprint the size of an extinct gargantuan dinosaur. 

Bet, you could count the number of pick-ups in the Copenhagen Conference parking lot on one hand—and those were probably staff vehicles! 

The sleek limos, with their spiteful fellow traveling liberal passengers, had better pull off to the side of the road before they get pushed off to the side by a grassroots Tea Party, Liberty Lovin’ convoy of pick-ups trucks.  The people are Gasin’ Up the Truck, and drivin’ a citizen legislator to Washington DC, to sit in The People’s Seat–in The People’s House. 

President George Walker Bush—“President for Life,” who’d have thunk?  Well, it is evident that is the case as our present president, BHO, keeps blaming Bush for all the current troubles—it’s as if Bush never left office.

So, where does the “for life” come in?  Isn’t that Hugo Chavez’ niche?   An explanation might be required.

 Utilizing one’s political wherewithal,  one might have observed that this president seemingly aspires to more terms in office than the 22 Amendment allows, which most everyone knows to be two terms.  Hyperbole, you say?

 Not so fast, for there is a seldom reported Bill, H.J.Res. 5, sponsored by Rep. Jose` Serrano (D-16^th Dist., Bronx, NY), that would bring about the repeal of the 22^nd Amendment.  In the immortal words of Gomer Pile, USMC;  “Shazam!”

The argument against this actually happening is correct,  that it takes an act of…err…Congress to repeal an Amendment from our Constitution. 

“It can’t happen here,” is the mantra exercised.  Well taken, and the steep protocols to accomplish a repeal are not easily surmountable—but, to those employing this mantra, please be reminded how bills—agendas–are being moved—bulldozed– through Congress, even as you are reading this.

Such Congressional secrecy and conspiracy, in combination with back room bribery and coercion, which borders thuggery, could easily be the captivating plot in political spy novels.  These corrupting tactics, in the end, “encourage” legislators to abandon any high ideals that they might still be clinging to, and finally capitulate.

 Oh, yes–one should be afraid, very afraid, because, “this can happen here.” 

That is, if the good people of our country allow it to happen.  Self-evident Truths, are the caveat, which the Powers That Be do not want the people of this country to continually bear in mind.

 If Americans do not embrace the mantle of sovereignty, which is theirs time immortal, and because, the White House propaganda machine, immersed in their Allinsky tactics (“the [community] organizer is to instantly develop the rational for actions, which have taken place by accident…rational gives action meaning and purpose” & “the target is always trying to shift responsibility to get out of being the target” Rules For Radicals, Allinsky , 1971) of repeatedly blaming Bush for the faux pas that they create, the nation will have GW Bush as a de facto president, via BHO never leaving office.

 Vigilance is all important in thwarting an active, aggressive play towards installing “El Presidente` for Life.”   And, if El Presidente` for Life then continues to recall his predecessor’s policies, as he shifts responsibility, America will have, in fact, “W” in the White House for many years to come. 

 The irony is that, the United States was much better off with GWB, though not a perfect president, than with what we have now, BHO.  And that truth, all told, sadly will not change, whether it be one term, or “For Life.”

Well, what a year 2009 was.  American society as we knew it fundamentally changed.  This “Change” bodes of a dire future for America.  But, all hope is not lost, for there is luminous silver lining that emerged from this Alinsky-esque Change.  The sleeping giant, startled awake by a spark of patriotic passion, was roused from its comfortable, complacent sleep.   The spark was “Santelli’s Rant.”  A stark realization was ignited in the people of the nation that they, not the government, are sovereign. 

Previous to this incendiary catalyst, excuses were abundant as to why not to participate in civic duties, but then people suddenly realized that in fact , Democracy–Representative Democracy– is something that entails hard work, lest it be lost, as our founding fathers, sages that they were, had warned us centuries years ago.

From the first round of Tea Parties on February 27^th, to the Tax Day Tea Parties on April 15^th, the number of cities and towns which held rallies increased exponentially, as did the number of Tea Party participants—into the millions!  From less than 100 cities in February to over 2000 in April, a truly patriotic grassroots movement’s momentum bloomed.

On and around July 4^th, more and more cities found people taking to the streets, echoing the Tea Party cry of less government with accountable, transparent legislatures, less burdensome taxes, a free-market with less governmental intervention, and above all, sovereignty of the people.

The salient message of these Tea Party tenets superseded staunch political party lines.  Partisanship took a back seat to tapering out of control legislatures and the well being of the United States of America.

On 9/12, September 12^th, Washington DC witnessed millions of patriots peaceably assemble to send an indelible, albeit simple message to DC’s aloof legislators—“No More!”

This outcry was echoed in Town Hall Meetings from the Atlantic to the Pacific.  The cumulative message, that Legislators can run and hide…they can name call, dismiss, marginalize and incite, but they can not hide from the people nor their outrage any longer.

Tea Partiers burned up the phone lines and made Congress postpone the passing of the spurious 2000+ page Cap & Trade Bill—which they will attempt again in 2010. 

The Tea Partiers did the same to the—again 2000+ page–despotic Health Care Bill.  Presently, national poll numbers approach almost 70% opposed to the HC Bill, but still, those pushing the HC Bill agenda through Congress, continue to rationalize and lie through their teeth, all the while accepting massive bribes–using your tax money– for their votes.  In the reality of the private sector, this would be considered illegal, and require jail time.

In light of Congress’ overt deceit, the good news is that:

1. Truth cannot be suppressed.  And that this is still the old Cold War, now being fought on our soil–a war between those who believe our inalienable rights are endowed by God, versus those who believe that citizens’ rights are granted by man’s government.
2. People are galvanizing as they avail themselves to the above truth and how this relates to both state and federal legislatures.
3. Ultimately, the people will regain their Sovereignty–as described in the Declaration of Independence–from those inclined to steal it.

Each state plays an important roll in this Cold War.  We are engaged in the Battles for Our States, which are at the forefront of the War for the Freedom of America.  Sound wounding of the “Liberal Beast” in each state will have positive ramifications nationally.

Some are lucky enough to be stalwart states of American traditional values.  Some states are now a bastion of liberal Marxist thinking.  Neither precludes people from re-empowering themselves—to fight the good fight– as to not acquiesce to the abhorrent political sway of Marxism.   

For the sake of solidarity, the onus is upon each Patriot, young and old, to accept the responsibility of fighting for freedom and embrace the Tea Party Movement.  It is only the strength of numbers that can, and will, loosen the oppressive grip of intrusive government and restore the political perspective that nurtures prosperity, versus, what we have presently, political policies that are a subterfuge to prosperity, and that are forcing businesses to flee from the country, hence creating economic refugees with nowhere to run.

The Tea Party, in addition to being a bonafide grassroots movement is a state of mind, a way of thinking, which imbibes of those clarion words contained in the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution.  The Tea Party embodies the ideals set forth in those seminal documents.  Therefore, the Tea Party is about YOU, the empowered individual.  And YOU must “Take A Sip Of Freedom”—everyday–actively taking a stand in defense of Lady Liberty.

America, is at a political crossroads.  The direction taken is dependent upon you.  The Future Belongs To Those Who Show Up.  Contact your local Tea Party and let them know how you are willing to help keep the vision of our founding fathers vibrant.

In 2010, all of us together–We, the Tea Party Movement, can affect real change for America!

    Before starting this Info Hub, I was speaking to a friend on the phone about all the political abominations being perpetrated upon us right now.  When we were about to hang up, and wishing each other a Merry Christmas, we noticed a pale came over our Christmas exultations.  We both wondered if this might be one of the last Christmases that we will be able to celebrate as we have for so many years past—if you are paying attention to today’s politics, you know that this is not hyperbole. 

          I ruminated on that for a while.  I thought about the cornucopia of gifts that we give and receive.  My mind flashed upon my family gathering around the veritable feast that had been so laboriously prepared by loving mothers, wives, daughters and sisters.

          I thought about how Lady Liberty had actually contributed to the Yule meal…for no one had to bribe a public official to get one of a limited number of turkeys, hams or beef roasts …or neither did anyone have to stand in the cold, in a lengthy food line to buy all the fixings.  No, not here in our great country, for Lady Liberty and her offspring, the Free Market made sure that the stores were stocked with plenty for all. 

           I then thought about my Father leading the family in the Christmas dinner prayer…an idea slammed into my head…boom!…maybe this year, 2009, it would be appropriate to read, the first few and last paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence, maybe even follow that with the first paragraph of the U.S. Constitution?  Would this be appropriate on this sacred holiday for our pre-dinner Giving of Thanks? 

          Conclusion: Yes!  It is absolutely appropriate to read these great words that were inspired by The Divine; inspiring words that not only helped to forge this country out of despotic colonies, but also helped guide our country through times of great peril.  Seminal words, which are the culmination of those freedoms, born in the humble manger over two millennia ago.

          Because our country’s foundation has been secured with the Cement of Faith, our nation has been able to not ingloriously crash through the precariously paper- thin ice of Representative Democracy.

          On this Christmas, it is absolutely appropriate to overtly acknowledge these sublime documents that allow us to gather for such a festive, religious holiday–without fear of our front doors being staved in by government goons, and our family members being dragged to a dank political prison cell to rot away in oblivion.

          Yes, it is the right thing to do, considering the political environment that we are presently in.  We must remind ourselves that today, we enjoy these freedoms because our legacy is defined by its citizens, not government–everyday people—who acted, and were relentlessly persistent with their action, whether on the battlefield, the home or the workplace. 

These ideas contained in these documents were always available for people to fall back upon.  The documents and their ideals were the bright beacon that shown across the vast oceans for countless immigrants, many of whom had to sacrifice almost all to shed the iron clad control of Marxist influenced foreign governments.  

          We enjoy our Christmas holiday because so many sacrificed, in so many ways, while flying –Old Glory– the banner of the divinely derived ideals that are embodied by our Declaration and Constitution.  We believe in those tenets that are illustrated in our Bill of Rights, such as the freedom of, not from, religion.

   Yes, this Christmas it is appropriate to direct a portion of the Yule-tide discussion towards patriotic activism…for the sake of future gatherings to burn the Yule-log. 

The importance of this  holiday patriotic discussion acts as a mechanism to galvanize you, your family & friends into action, into resolving to not allow “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” to be marginalized, squandered even destroyed by national & state political officials, who duplicitously purport the Godless belief of redistributive egalitarianism. 

          Yes, Christmas 2009, must be a Christmas like no other we have celebrated.  This December 25^th we must savor what an exceptional country we live in, one which still allows us to celebrate our beliefs unabatedly.  Let us remind ourselves, our family & friends, that if We do not take up the mantle of being the guardians of Liberty, and “mutually Pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor”…then this great experiment will be lost…and that, my fellow patriots, is unacceptable.
